OT community hails success of inaugural Occupational Therapy Show
Shadow Minister for Disabled People calls for greater role for OTs in conducting ATOS assessments
Almost 2,200 independent and NHS OT professionals(2,188 attendees – BPA Audit applied for) thronged the inaugural Occupational Therapy Show at the NEC (November 26th 27th) – making it the UK’s largest event for the profession in its first year.
Delegates packed the exhibition hall and the six CPD-accredited lecture streams and hailed the ground-breaking, free-of-charge format of CloserStill’s latest healthcare event.
The OT Show certified more than 6,950 hours of free CPD education over the two-days making the event one of the largest providers of live accredited CPD education in the UK. Over 550 delegates attended both days of the event.
More than 160 specialist suppliers to the OT sector reported brisk business and more than 75% of the exhibition space has already been booked for the 2014 event which returns to the NEC on November 26th & 27th.
The Occupational Therapy Show, located at the NEC, Birmingham on the 26th & 27th November 2014, is the only FREE national event dedicated to OTs, designed by OTs. The Show offers OTs a conference programme with over 30 hours of CPD-accredited content, spread over two days.

The Occupational Therapy show is far more than just a conference.
